1. Scope of Mandate
Not all public roads in
Lagunas are the responsibility of the Road Committee. The Committee's mandate
includes only the Ridge Road and that part of the Lagunas main road from Baru to the water tank. All private roads in the area are maintained privately (maps are available describing the mandate).
2. Maintenance Activity

3. Future Work
- Municipality of Aguirre coming with better
equipment in December
- Ticos work day to clean desagues and alcantarillas
- First hill –
bigger alcantarilla is needed under the driveway of the house on the east side of the road.
- Driveways –
proper drainage to be established
- Ridge Road landslide
area – many options, both technical and financial. Committee will recommend
best long-term value for dollar.

Of a total possible of
79 property owners to contribute and $11,445 to be collected, only 18 property owners had paid $3,470 by the end of October.
The attendees agreed that
the lists of those who had paid and those who had not would be published on the web site and that a small windshield sticker
would be issued to those who had paid.
